First Semester break is finally here!

I'm at home now!

After 4 months staying at hustle-and-bustle air polluted city,

I'm tired of walking and using public transport to travel around KL.

Although it's fun to ride those LRT, KTM, monorail and Rapid KL as a "sakai" like me.

I'll enjoy as much as possible in Kuching within this 1 month ++ holiday!

Don't want to think of exam results anymore.

I bet it sucks!

The craziest stuff I did this week: I CHOPPED OFF & DYED MY HAIR!

I cut my hair too SHORT unexpectedly!

I dyed my hair too RED accidentally!

Ps: Don't ask me why. I don't know what to answer too! :P

As a FOOD LOVER,

I'll miss KL foods which I can't find in hometown!

As a SHOPAHOLIC,

I'll miss window shopping around KL shopping malls that I LOVE a lot!

As a TRAVELLER,

I'll miss travelling around KL and sight-seeing!

As a STUDENT,

I won't miss you campus & hostel! ><

Chinese New Year eve is tomorrow!

So excited!

Wanna eat a lot without concerning about calories & nutrients!

It's an once-a-year event!

The only thing that I'm sick of now is CNY songs.

Urghhhhh.

A True Meaning of Christmas for me :)

It's that time of year again. December has come and with it all the joys of Christmas. But what is the real meaning of Christmas? Is it the gifts under the tree, the lights in the windows, the cards in the mail, turkey dinners with family and friends, snow in the yard, stockings hanging in the living room, and shouts of "Merry Christmas" to those who pass us in the streets? Is this really Christmas?

For many people, Christmas is a time of sorrow. They don't have the extra money to buy presents for their children, family, and friends. Many are saddened at Christmastime when they think of their loved ones who will not be able to come home for various reasons. Turkey dinners may be only a wish and not a reality for some.

Yet, Christmas can be a season of great joy. It is a time of God showing His great love for us. It can be a time of healing and renewed strength. You see, Christmas is when we celebrate the birth of the Christ child. God sent His Son, Jesus, into the world to be born. His birth brought great joy to the world. Shepherds, wise men, and angels all shared in the excitement of knowing about this great event. They knew this was no ordinary baby. The prophets had told of His coming hundreds of years before. The star stopped over Bethlehem just to mark the way for those who were looking for this special child.

Why did He come? Why did God send His son to this sometimes cruel and hard world? He sent Jesus to us so that one day, He would grow up to become a very important part of history. His story (history) is one of truth, love, and hope. It brought salvation to all of us. Without Jesus, we would all die in our sins.

Jesus was born so one day the price could be paid for the things we have done that are wrong. The Bible says that all have sinned. We are all born with a sin nature. We do things that do not please God. Through the sins of Adam and Eve, we have all inherited that sin nature. We need to have that removed. The only way is through Jesus. Jesus came so He could die on the cross for ALL of our sins. If we believe that Jesus died for our sins, we can ask Him to come into our hearts and forgive us. Then, we are clean and made whole. We can know that heaven is a place where we can go to when this life is over.

We can truly be happy at Christmas! No matter what may be happening, we can know that we are His children. We then become sons and daughters of God. Heaven will be our home one day.

Look at Christmas in a new way this year. This is the year to invite Jesus into your heart. You will then have a "Merry Christmas." The joy and peace you will receive will last all year as you look to God for all your needs to be met.

Jesus Is The Reason For The Season! Rejoice!

151011 is a memorable day in my uni life.

I finally get to meet this kpop chingu!

I was worried that we would have awkward moments during this first meeting.

I know her since last year but we never meet.

Thanks to RACHEL RURAN LEONG who introduces her to me during matriculation!

Due to the distance between our hometowns, we just sms, tweeter & fb chat to each other.

Our first meeting was awesome!

We went Midvalley Golden Screen Cinema to watch 2am Show!

She chia me snowflakes too.

We chatted a lot.

Although it was the first meeting, I feel that she's my CLOSE FRIEND who I know for so many years!

We met again after I finished mid-sem exam.

I brought another kpop kaki chingu with me.

We went Sushi King & she found out I'm a SALMON LOVER!

I ordered 4 plates of salmon-related sushi out of 6 plates!

hahaha!

After that, we watched "In Time" at GSC.

Awesome movie! A MUST-WATCH movie!

We went to the PC fair & bought the same type of headsets!

She'll definitely read this blog!

My very FIRST exam in university

Finally finished my exam today!

Woohoo!

What a relief!

My feeling about this very first exam?

It's quite different from matriculation.

Instead of objective questions,

We have Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).

It's so confusing!

True or False, that's what you need to do.

Essays as usual.

I sat for 5 papers.

Anatomy: Quite ok.

Nutrition Health: just simply wrote down whatever food which appeared in my mind. XP

Physiology: Essays ok. MCQ die.

Instrumentation: KILLER SUBJECT!! Hopefully can pass well & will not affect my CGPA. Pray
hard.

Biochemistry: Organic chemistry is kind to me! Quite confident for this paper! :D

What shall I do now??

19th Birthday

19th October is the most important day for my whole life.

I should appreciate to my beloved Daddy & Mummy for bringing me to this world.

It was quite a different day for this year.

No close friends and family celebrate with me.

No cake.

No presents.

No kml friends and room mates with me.

It was kinda miss those moments when my best best buddies gave me a LATE surprise in my room.

This year,

I received a lot of wishes from friends and family through fb, twitters and sms!

I received a SURPRISE from my course mates too!

Wow!

They're AWESOME!

They sang birthday song for me in lecture hall!

I was so shy!

haha!

After that, my class rep brought me to the back door.

Suddenly, my chinese coursemates sang song again with 12 DOUGHNUTS!

So cute!

I was quite touched!

I'm officially 19 right now.

Hopefully my birthday wishes will come true. :)

It's been a while since I updated my blog!

4 months of holidays finally was over. And I'm here! The capital city of Malaysia - KUALA LUMPUR! :)

SEPTEMBER was a meaningful month for me! This is the month I start a brand new life in a "foreign" country. I can consider myself as an OVERSEA student as I cross the South China Sea to come to KL! haha! Funny joke from Michelle! As a university student (freshman) in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, I experienced a lot of stupid & unforgettable stuffs!

An UNEXPECTED-TOO-RELAX Orientation Week
Bulan Mesra Pelajar especially Perang Dectar which I cheered like a crazy person that night
JPD Informal Orientation by the 2nd year seniors (being a ZOMBIE for the judgement night performance)
FAC Freshmen Night (sang Jay Chou's rival-LeeHom's song =.= )
JPD Interaction Day (kpop dance performance)

Although it was kinda torturing & tiring, but these unforgettable memories have made my uni life more interesting!

For the academic part? Ermmm..... For this semester, I need to study 5 subjects - Anatomy, Health Physiology, Nutrition Health, Instrumentation & Basic Biochemistry. Anatomy & Physiology are the most torturing subjects! I HATE Instrumentation the most! The worst thing is - I need to sit for BM paper for this subject! Sob Sob Sob! I sleep a lot during lectures! haha!

As for the co-curriculum part? haha! I'm not going to join a lot of activities anymore! I'm lazy to grab merit marks too! I don't want to stay in hostel after my 1st year! Yup! Just need to join activities with the Learning Contract thingy. I join musical club! At least that is the only job I know how to do. I join Christian Fellowship! I find a lot of english speaking seniors there! Quite happy that there are still chinese who are not that traditional chinese people. haha!

I think I should end my updates here. Exams are coming soon! It's next week! Arghhhh! My very FIRST exam in university! I will update about my very special day soon! And also the outing day with my beloved chingu- evelynn! Dear blog, just wait for my return! :D

2am in Malaysia again!!

EXTREMELY HAPPY!!!!

I missed 2am showcase in May although I got a free ticket after the showcase.
(It's a package with the limited edition saint's o'clock album)

Last week a kpop friend told me that there's a 2am concert 3D show at Singapore.

Sign again! Why only in Singapore? So troublesome! Gotta make a passport for my 2am?!

I have a program at uni that time too! No way!!!

Being upset for a few days. :(

But now.....

I received GREAT news from my kpop kaki last night!!!!!

2am concert 3D show in Malaysia!!

Wheeee!!!!

I MUST GO!!!

It's on 13th October!!

It's gonna be the BEST birthday present ever in my whole life!!

I went to school this morning. The school was having food and fun fair today for fund raising. I still can't believe that I left my high school for 2 years already! I was a student who was shouting "lelong lelong" and "buy 1 free 1" at the school food fair two years ago! And this morning, I was a visitor who "forced" by my juniors and teachers to buy food and play games from them!

I was very GLAD that my juniors still recognize and greet me in school! I was very HAPPY that I saw my high school friends and teachers (you know who you are) too! I saw my seniors who guided & taught me well in school!

I went to school with yet soong and yet mian. We walked around the school and we reflected a lot of memories. I was very PROUD of my high school! I'm PROUD to be a FOREVER TERESIAN! LOVE AND SERVE! I'll perform my TERESIAN SPIRIT in my life! =)

Effects of LONG holiday

It's the end of JUNE now.

2nd month of holiday.

2 more months of honeymoon.

I should jot down the effects of my long holiday:

~FAT!!! Kuching food is too nice that I MUST taste all of them! Except for kolok mee. Even though I'm from kuching,but I never like kolok mee. There are a lot of new kopitiams & restaurants too! I admit that I'm a FOOD LOVER! Motto for myself: EAT AS MUCH AS YOU CAN! =D

~LACK OF EXERCISE! Actually I don't exercise a lot.So it's normal to seldom see me exercise.Tip to make me slim down:don't eat too much in uni. (experience this in matric.It helped a lot.) hehe.

~KPOP! This is the WORST effect! KPOP DRAMAS! KPOP SONGS! KPOP SHOWS! KPOP CHANNELS IN ASTRO! KPOP MUSIC VIDEOS! KPOP MAGAZINES! KPOP POSTERS! KPOP ALBUMS! Woohoo! See??!! Kpop virus keeps on conquering my brain! I'm currently downloading lots of kpop stuffs for my UNI life! I know that I'll get outdated from kpop world once I enter uni. (ps: chinese songs in my phone? not more than 10 songs! Oppss!)

~LACK OF USING MY BRAIN CORRECTLY! Yup! I admit that my brain is getting rusty now. Wondering whether I still remember Biology,Chemistry,Mathematics or not.Wakakaka.

~LACK OF READING PROPER BOOKS! I READ a lot! But not story books! Although I bought a book "Eat,Pray,Love" by Elizabeth Gilbert last 2 weeks,but it's still on chapter 10 since last week. Haha!

~SHOPAHOLIC! Haiz! I can't control myself! Hate leh! Giving my money to PADINI CONCEPT STORE,YG MAGAZINE,EPOP MAGAZINE & MBO CINEMA almost every month now! I should stop it! *crossing fingers*

~INTERNET! Everyday busy downloading movies,dramas.Surfing kpop websites.

In conclusion,the MAIN EFFECT of this holiday is...........

FIRST POST in 2011

It's been a while that I didn't update my blog. I'm really sorry. I'm quite lazy to update it regularly. The internet connection here is not really good.

Before I want to start my 2011 journey with a peaceful heart, just wanna recoil back what I did for last year! Time machine! Bring us back to 2010 now! *poof*

January: I'm free from uniform, text books, nonsense rules! Weeeeee! But I miss my school very much especially the canteen food! I went school to visit band & helped my juniors during audition. Just realise that my juniors are graduated like me now. I feel old!

February: Chinese New Year & Valentine's Day! Of course I chose to celebrate CNY instead of Valentine's Day right? I'm proud to be SINGLE! Had lots of fun with family and friends. Hope that I can spend my CNY time with them again this year. I should plan properly. I have only 3 days to celebrate CNY in 2011! It's not enough for me!

March: Did nothing actually. Since no more homework & co-curriculum activities, I worked with my mum. I used to complain a lot that the only stuff I can do was playing piano everyday, and now I really miss my piano very very much! I really wish that I only need to play piano or violin and join orchestra to gain money! I really envy those people who can join orchestra! Since I choose this biology pathway, I should not regret now.

April: The most kan-chiong moment in 2010! SPM result day! JPA Interview! Pre-uni result day! I was quite satisfied with my SPM result. I didn't cry! It's true! haha! But EST killed me! Arghhhh! First interview experience in my life (prefect's interviews are excluded). It was quite an interesting day & I met Fiona & Marilyn! Although I didn't get JPA scholarship, but I know that God will give me what I want in my life! Pre-uni made me in dilemma that time. It was a Friday. I went to register for UCSI A Levels in the morning. In the afternoon, I suddenly got a message. It said, "Tahniah! Anda terpilih untuk pergi ke Kolej Matrikulasi Labuan." I was pissed off! What the heck? I got it??!! I just applied it for FUN! Fine!

May: My miserable life starts in this month. LAME Orientation week. Seniors bullied juniors. Hate it! I really hate this place! I didn't know why I choose to come here! I complained a lot! Why my friends can get scholarships? Why can they go overseas? Why can they choose places they like to study? Why am I the unlucky one? Why? Why? Why?

June-July: I complained less. I can adopt this lack-of-water environment. I met great friends who treat me like a BABY. I join college choir and become busy like high school. I started to feel the toughness of pre-uni.

August: Mid-term exam semester 1. I thought I was prepared for it. In the end. A piece of SHIT result slip! I finally fell down! I felt numbness! I felt stupid! I nearly give up! I wanna go home! I don't want to continue my journey anymore! I felt tired! I felt that I spent my majority time on unnecessary stuffs instead of studies!

September: I like this month! I met most of my friends! I spent more time with my close friends! Especially my church friends! This was the time that I finally found out something. But I was afraid that I can't grant this wish. I'll wait! Maybe one day that person will realise it.

October: My birthday! I missed my 17th birthday! I got 3 surprises! For my 18th birthday, it was the 1st time I didn't celebrate it with my family & high school friends. I was quite sad because it was my final semester 1 exam too! My birthday versus chemistry paper! Arghhhh! Screwed up! But I was quite surprised that my close friends here bought me a GOOD quality cake that supposed to stick on my face but failed! haha! Thanks buddies!

November: I started my brand new semester 2 life! It's getting tougher compared to semester 1. The lecturers were rushing like crazy to finish the syllabus. 1 new chapter per week. Someone told me this- know your priorities & only take up certain responsibilities. To avoid a piece of shit appears again, I have to remember this quote everyday as my advice. I got my Final Semester result too! I have confidence to get what I want now! I finally can prove that to strike good results, intelligence and hardwork are the most important elements and not luck!

December: No caroling for me. Sad. Family vacation at sabah. happy! Shopping, Church-ing & of course my favourite stuff- Food-ing! This was the time that I should think carefully of my route after matriculation. Pharmacy? Nutrition & Dietetics? Medicine? Dentistry? I don't know what to choose! God! Please help me to pick a right choice!

I have no wish for this new year right now. I just hope that I can get good result in this coming exam! If I smell exam, I can smell holiday! Kuching! I'm coming back again!

I'm back home!! What's up Kuching??!! Remember me? Haha! After the hardship for past few
weeks,my brain finally can be dismissed by me for not "hiring" it to help me to think something.
One week plus of holiday! So happy! Brought back 2 bags home. My parents were shocked as I
brought back a bag of BOOKS & a bag of CLOTHES back home! I'm strong right?

What I did recently? My KPOP disease is in my body again! I'm a KPOP FREAK!! Haiyo.... No
treatment can cure me! Downloaded lots of kpop music videos & songs! Met Rachel's kpop freak
friend in facebook & we become good friends now! Because of kpop! We're trying to "poison"
Rachel's mind with KPOP. We discovered that actually she likes kpop especially 2pm but she
still doesn't want to admit it! What a Friend right? LOL!

I just came back from an outing with my best buddies! I hang out with Elizabeth,Kelly & Dae
just now. We went to town area for the whole day. We had MCD breakfast in the morning. We
ordered the same meal------Sausage Macmuffin with egg. After we chatted for an hour,we
walked to Tun Jugah. I shopped for stationary again. I can't denied that I like Popular's
stationary a lot,especially the high quality papers! I planned to buy a book to read but ended up
nothing.

After that,we walked to Hills. While walking to the destination,Kelly told us that she has a
KUCHING friend who only went to the SPRING for once since it opens!! LOL!! After we arrived
Hills,the first thing we did was TOILET!! Haha!! We went to Toy'R'us and saw lots of interesting
toys! Kids nowadays are so "bahagia"! They can have lots of EXPENSIVE & CUTE toys! Even
dolls are very ho mia too! They have PAMPERS & DOLL FOOD!! OMG!! Can you believe it??!!
Elizabeth is still the same! Still obsessed with toys & knifes! Haha! She bought a watergun.

We wanted to go High Tea Buffet at Majestic Cafe this afternoon but it was fully booked! So
sad! No ice cream & dessert to eat! So we went to MCD again. Haiyo. Dae joined us too! I think
she grows taller & more meaty??!! Or just because I didn't see her for a long time? But she still
like a kid for me! Cute! We ate Mac Lunch & chatted again. It was fun though.

It was fun today. I didn't write such a LONG post for a LOOOOONNNNGGG time! I can
officially announce that I'M UPDATING MY BLOG!! The End. XDDD

so busy this 2 weeks for preparation.

I went through it!!!

I can say that it was fun and can gain experience....

To tell the truth....

I'm not nervous at all....

So weird right?

The interviewers were quite friendly (That's made me not nervous I think.)

I'm in panel 1 Group 3...

3 girls and 1 guy...

That's mean 3 people are applying for pharmacy and a guy is applying for medicine...

Conclusion is.....

Don't be panic and an interview just a small part for the whole process...

If you say something wrong on that day....

It's normal because human is not perfect...

*update: I'm going for A Levels in UCSI while waiting for the news from JPA*

11th March finally comes and conquers my life!!!
Can't believe it!!!
Still remember that last year I used to "hide" in the school pusat sumber and accidentally saw the teachers were looking at the SPM results.
I still can relaxed that time as it was not my turn to receive the result slip.
Time flies very fast.
It feels like it just happened yesterday!
And tomorrow it's my turn to receive it from my form teacher!!

2nd outing with Eli & Kelly

Went Sarawak Club at 11.30am to meet Kelly and Eli.

We read magazines in the library while waiting for Kelly's mum to fetch us to MCD until 1.45pm.

All of us felt sleepy and painful. Hahaha!!

Kelly had backache, Eli had stomach ache and I had headache. Ridiculous right? =)

We ordered the same meal in MCD, which was BIG MAC!! Yummy!!

There was a conversation between Kelly and I when Eli was washing her hands.

I : Kelly, I realised something unique in MCD.
Kelly: What? (Big eyes looking at me)
I : All MCD workers are male. And a bit girlish.
Kelly: (look around) .... Yaya....hahaha....I saw a male worker with make ups just now....
I : Hahaha.... and KFC workers are mostly female. Why?
Kelly: Don't know..... No idea....

Eli finished her Big Mac first and asked Kelly and I whether we are naturally very slow or not. (Eli, I really don't have ideas to answer your question...)

While waiting for us to finish our meals, she played with the salts and peppers. Just like a baby!! (should take picture and post it in facebook xD)

After that, we went to riverside Parkson. We saw lots of "funny" and "cute" ties in Parkson. So RANDOM!!! I think most of the shopping complex will die soon after SPRING & BOULEVARD are available in Kuching. (Pray hard people!!)

The last place we went was the Coffee Bean. It's quite an interesting outing with these two friends today. Hope to have another buffet with you guys soon!!!! Maybe during CNY??!!! Keep in touch ya!!! Muacks!!! =p

Just realized that I completely forgot my blog recently. But never mind, will not be too late to update something. Last week was my last SPM day. Thank God that I managed to keep alive until that day! I can say that everyone didn't have the study mood during Chemistry Paper. Can see that everyone kept saying " remember class party tonight!" , "Yeepee!! Finally can watch TWILIGHT!!" or " EDWARD CULLEN, I'm coming soon!! ".

LOL!! The first thing which all st3 f5 girls wanted to do after SPM was WATCH TWILIGHT!! I did watch that movie too after my last SPM paper. It was an interesting movie! I wanna watch it again!!

After my movie day, I went damai with my beloved friends. It was fun and I really had a great time with them although some sad things happened. But we did enjoy ourselves there!

I will busy with church stuffs from tomorrow onwards. As usual, busy caroling and prepare children christmas party. A lot of things waiting for me to do. So just wanna wish an early MERRY CHRISTMAS to those who visit my blog! =P

Just want to announce the new member of 17th club gang is * Drum rolls* Ya!! It's me!! My birthday celebration for this year was very special. I got 3 SURPRISES from my friends this year! I celebrated my early birthday at The Spring with Elaine, Adeline T ,Adeline L and Mei Theen. I was late as my father purposely went for a hair cut although I told him earlier. Actually Elaine reserved seats at a restaurant but the waiters said that they didn't confirm with them! We're like "bobian" so we ate our lunch at the Food Bazaar. Suddenly, Amanda and the Gang came. At first, I thought they were just came for shopping. [So you should know what happened after this!] Yaya.. They came here and gave me a surprise! They bought me two slices of cakes from Secret Recipes. All of them sang birthday song to me loudly in public area {so Paiseh!!} After lunch, Adeline T and I went MBO and watched a "food" movie. It's all about FOOD!!

This was really really a surprise!! You can't believe who planned this surprise!! I can't believe too! At first, I thought it was youth committee's plan. But then the answer is an aunty a.k.a my godmother! I really appreciate it! so cool! An aunty can also plan a surprise plan! haha...
After choir practice, as usual, the aunty announced something related to the upcoming Christmas carolling and asked us to stay back for 5 minutes after mass. I thought she wanted to discuss the carolling thingy with us. Oh ya!! A cake appeared in front of me and all the choir members & youth committee members sang birthday song to me.

I went to school as usual. Tried to finish whatever homework which I didn't manage to finish. I hoped that my friends wouldn't "kacau" me. I went out with Adeline L to staffroom as she wanted to pass up her BM paper to teacher. When I reached class, *Boom* "happy birthday to you....." Yaya... My classmates, Cassandra & Joanne sang birthday song to me. Michelle gave a HUGE card to me. It was so touched!! I nearly cried in front of them!! Haha!!! After school, my dad asked me about the BIG thingy. So funny!!

I had a sad school holidays this year...

Almost every day....

Went for seminar.... tuition.... homework..... study....

That's what I did recently to spend my holidays....

So sad.... frustrated....tired....

At least it's not a boring week for me.....

I'm cracking my brain almost everyday....

Busy preparing st3 band installation dinner 2009 now....

Hope that it will successful because my batch is the 1st batch to do agm in dinner style....

Finally can relax a bit since exam was over. Results ah?! No comments.. Just accept whatever marks I can get.=p (try to be happy by myself.. haha..) But like what all my teachers said, SPM is more important than any exams. That's right!! I can't claim any marks during SPM results. So from this term onwards, I try to "tahan" not to argue with teachers about the marks I got (if can..)

This week is a Math & Science Week for st3 students. All the teachers & students were busy "running" around the school (lol..). For the form 5 students, we had a "soap making" competition & "math hunts" today. It was quite fun. But my group (Adeline, Mei Theen & I) made a soap called the "CT square" soap. It has a green tea smell (thanks to Theen's perfume) and oily?? We didn't know why our soap is so oily. A soap should be soapy right?

Me : Adel, why our soap is so oily?
Adel : Dunno leh... People use soap to wash oily things.... But our soap makes things oily!!
Me : Lol...

There will be no special assembly for Merdeka Celebration this year. It's a bad & good news for me. The bad is that There is no Merdeka Celebration for my last year at school. The good is that I will not conduct for the band anymore!! Actually the band is not prepare for the coming performance. So I think it's better to cancel so that the band will not take the risk to perform. I'm so sorry to say that band members. But It's true. Don't try to do something that is risky.

The sad part is THEY ARE GOING TO MALACCA!!!! NOT FAIR!! I should join this year!! But I still enjoy hanging out with friends last year when we went to sibu to join the division level competition.

From tomorrow onwards, I can do whatever I like because I already retired from prefectorial board!! Finally can concentrate in studies now!!! So happy!!! But a bit sad because I really enjoy performing my prefect duties in school and I need to wear my blue ugly uniform. Sob... =(

My grandma is in the hospital and having an operation recently.

There is an education fair in my school today and tomorrow.

There were a lot of talks given by different university to the form 5 students.

After attended a talk given by Taylors College, I felt like taking Biomedical Science or Biotechnology as my career.

But after recess, I attended a talk given by Ravens, I felt like applying scholarships to have my further studies in New Zealand or Australia.

Then, I went to the roadshow in the hall with Mei Theen. We asked UCSI about foundation of music and asked some Australia and Local Universities about Biomedical Science and Biotechnology.

Where should I take my further studies?
Malaysia? Australia? New Zealand? Or Singapore?

Should I study Form 6, Foundation, A-levels or Matriculation?

What should I choose as a career for my future???
Biomedical Science? Biotechnology? Medical? Chemistry Engineering? Or even Music? ( PS: I will never choose business, hospitality, tourism, art, law and civil engineering... )

I think I just need to focus on my SPM exam first as I still have 6 months to think on what should I be during the future.

We got 3rd or 4th place only for previous years as the judges said that we can't win because st3 choir don't have GUYS to support the Bass part of a song...

My Last Sport's Day

3rd April 2009 was the last Sport's Day for all Form 5's.

It was the BEST Sport's Day this year because:

I could not believe that it was the first & last time I stayed back and watched the Sport's Day although I didn't watch the teachers event. (a bit sad....)
There was a cheer leading group that made the Sport's Day different!!
A lot of teachers praised the band did a good job on that day!!! The band was the best marching group on that day!!

I went to Jubilee Ground at 6.40am. All the band members were very lucky this year because Elizabeth asked them to come before 6.45am!! So good!! Still remember that every year we need to go there before 6.30am!!

As for this year, Elaine and I became the watergirls and photographers because the marching block was full. Sport's Day started a bit late this year, that was 8.35am as the VVIP guests came so late.

After that, Joanne and I walked to my dad office to put my things. Suddenly, we saw the Milo supplier and decided to drink Milo first. In our way to my dad office, we attracted by a monkey!! It's so cute!!

Actually RC commitee had a meeting at MCD upstairs. So, Band Commitee (Amanda, Elizabeth, Elaine, Lippy & I) also had a small meeting at MCD. We had a sia-soing meeting on that day because we can discussed from MCD to Parkson until Sarawak Plaza.

The Sport's Day resumed at 2.30pm. ISCF had a kindness project on that day, that was giving out free orange juices.

Just now went to youth gathering..

Suddenly got a bunch of new faces came and be our new youth members!!

I went band practice yesterday. As usual, VERY VERY VERY VERY NOISY!!!!!!

First, I asked Elaine to scold the band about :

NOISINESS

I don't know what's wrong with their discipline. It's getting WORST!! Every practice, every hour, every minute and every second must TALK!! Set up instruments and stands TALK!! Committee members and teachers are talking, you guys are TALKING TOO!! Mr Marvin is teaching, you guys TALK!! Instruments already put up still can TALK!! AH!!!!! So ANNOYING!!!

Respect

PLEASE RESPECT THE TEACHERS, COMMITTEE MEMBERS AND EVEN SECTION LEADERS!! I received a lot of complains from committee members and teachers that band members do not respect them. JUST TRY TO RESPECT US, ESPECIALLY WE ARE TALKING TO YOU!!

Attendance

EVERY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY MUST HAVE BAND PRACTICES, UNLESS IS STATED!! SO ATTENDANCES ARE COMPULSORY EVERY WEEK!!! Attendance is VERY VERY BAD this year especially TRUMPET SECTION on FRIDAY!! Sometimes even only 1 trumpeters come on Friday!! Please make an effort to come for practices.

After that, We had a marching practice. IT'S SO BAD!!!!!! Mr. Marvin was there too. So PAISE!! Because the band really did bad yesterday. I'm so sad because i think it's my fault as I didn't teach the band properly. Actually we are going to play "Spartans" and "Final Countdown" during sport's day. But, Mr. Marvin asked us to play a jazz song "Sideline Shuffle" on that day. SO COOL RIGHT? I never see a band play a jazz piece for marching!! He wants our band to be a so called NEW SCHOOL BAND.

All band members, please try your best to "throw away" all the bad habits.

A Tired Saturday

Yesterday, a co-curriculum day for all the students. I arrived at school at 8am as usual. Our band starts at 9am starting from this because the principal has changed it to 2 in 1 club (Uniform body & club only). That's mean we committee must plan our practices properly to avoid time waste.

Before band, Elizabeth & I decided to play chess as we do not have time to play on every Friday. We join chess club to get kk marks for sports part. Surprise Right? Everyone feels weird when we heard that chess club is under sports. If you translate it to BM, you wouldn't feel weird. It's "Sukan dan Permainan". During chess.

Eli: Hey, do you know how to play chess? (setting up the chess)
Me: No. I do not have the chess skill. How about you?
Eli: I know how to play a bit.
Me: We can play chess until 8.20am only because we need to prepare our stall.
(that time was 8.15am)
Eli: Erm..... Ok!

Elizabeth was trying to teach me how to play.

Eli: Hey! Your turn now!
Me: Ok!!! How to "walk"?
Eli: "Walk" vertically or horizontally.
Me: Ok... (clueless)
Eli: Oh... It's 8.20am now. We keep now.
Me: Ok!

Then, 5sc1 students prepared our "Yummy Yummy" stall. We sold honeydew juice, coconut juice.ice-cream and puddings. Mdm Tan a.k.a Amanda's mum come and help us. Even my form teacher brought her maid to come and help us!

It was 9am. Elizabeth a.k.a. drum major and I a.k.a. conductress need to proceed to the music room. Both of us hate band now!! Every week, we need to shout "Keep Quiet!!!!" for at least 6 times!! It's so TERRIBLE & ANNOYING!!! We have no idea that why they like to talk so much. So, we decided to give them pumping. On that day, we practised marching for Sport's day at parish centre for 30 minutes.

After break, they had a test from me! Elaine a.k.a. my assistant and I test them the Sport's day songs, "Spartans" and "Final Countdown" according to their sections. The best groups of the day were Basses and Clarinets!! The worst group was Saxophones!! They failed both of the songs! Elaine and I were so embarassing because of us are saxophonists! Without Clarissa, my best junior, Elaine and I, the quality of the section drops to negative value! They are too depent to us!!

Mr Marvin, our band instructor didn't come yesterday. He asked me to teach the band a new jazz piece, "Sideline Shuffle". It's a nice piece! To avoid all the sections to get scolded on the next practice, I helped up with the melody part (the rhythm is so hard for some of them). Elaine helped up with the accompaniment part. They managed to play the whole piece correctly in about 1 hour. But I still need to polish up the song during the next practice.

After band, I need to rush to parish centre to attend church youth meeting.All the committee members did not agree the choir group to have their activity on the same day and venue with our youth camp. While we were planning the camp activities, something happened.

Me: We should have a worship section before the talk.
Ah Dau(president): Don't call it as worship section.
Me: Oklah... Fine... Sing "K" (in mandarin is chang k) loh.....
Ah Dau: Ok... nice name! (as usual, laugh continuously)

Then, the participants of KYCS FORMATION 2009 came down for lunch. We need move to the corridor outside the parish centre. Martin, one of the committee member joined the ycs stuff too.

Martin: Hey, I saw you people did band marching in the morning.
Me: Ya...
Martin: I saw you holding a flute!! Haha...
Me: Hah?? Oh.. that's not flute lah!!
(PS: Actually I'm holding a trumpet..)

After meeting, I introduced them to have a high tea at Satok Walk.

Ah Dau: Hey, you guys want to form a band?
Bernard: What kind of band? Is it the band like Ginny's band?
Me: Hah?? (Clueless)
Ah Dau: A band lah!!
Me: A rock band? A big band? A simple band? Or a marching band like mine? If you want a
band kind of my school band, I'll be crazy. It's so hard to control them.
Ah Dau: A band that has electris guitar,bass guitar,keyboard and drum set.
Peter: Can!! You see, our committee members got a few of musucians. Keyboardist,
guitarist,violinist & drummer. But, who is going to sing?
Me: Ah dau loh.... haha...

Me: Ah dau, why you want to watch. You must be want to see them how to form a band

Me: Is it too noisy in the morning? I mean the drums.
liaw: Not really. They just curious that why got band around the parish centre.

liaw: No lah.. They just feel weird.. They like it!

liaw: Do you know that rc, prefects and band got marching at parish centre at the same
time?
Me: Haha.... We purposely went there and disturb you people.. haha..

Snake Tragedy

There was a SNAKE in my class!!
It's True!!!

The tragedy began like this...

Andrea: Hey Guys! There's a toy snake on the wall! (trying to stand near and touch it..)
Olivia: Where? OMG!! That's not a toy! You see.. It's moving!
Maxine & Emily: AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOT SNAKE!!!!!!!!
Class: AH!!!!!!!!!! (some of them even stand on the chair)

Amanda and I ran to find Mr. Teo for help.

Me: Mr Teo, there's a snake in 5sc1 class.
Mr Teo: Is it? Got Pak Cik there?
Me: Ya...
Mr Teo: Ok. I go up and see 1st.

I saw Pak Cik used the broom and killed the snake. IT'S SO GROSS!!!

The word "SNAKE" appeared 2 times on that day. During BM period, I read the novel "SETEGUH KARANG" chapter 5. It was about an Indonesia worker bitten by a snake and died.During Math period, There was a snake appeared in my class.

Today, I came to school as usual. Tired and sleepy. Some weird things happened today.

I teased by Adeline Tan and Stephanie Chia. I'm wearing a ribbon to school because of photo taking of form prefects today. But, Josephine, the president of photography club said that there was no photo taking today. Both of them looked at me and conversation started.

Adel: Today no more photo taking for prefects loh...
Me: Ya, I know. ( A bit disappointing)
Adel: Why today you put ribbon? Because of photo taking right?
Me: Erm... (admit without realizing)

We learned a new chapter today, that is ELECTRICITY. Ms Chung showed us Van De Graff Generator. Amanda went and tried it and her hair became spiky!! All of us laughed until muscles cramped!!!

As usual, I went to school at 6.40am. So sad right? Need to go to school for replacement on that day. Actually, it's a wonderful v-day for me.

REASON NO. 1

During physics lessons, my gang, mei theen, stephanie the 2 adelines and I had an argument of interferences of sound and light waves.

Adel Tan: If dark fringes are constructive interferences, then soft sounds are
constructive interferences, right?

Theen & I: NO!!!!!!!! IT'S NOT LIKE THAT!!!!! THERE
IS NO RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN
INTERFERENCES OF SOUND & LIGHT
WAVES!!!!!

Adel Tan & Stephanie: But why Mr. Lee drew the blue lines represent destructive
(bright part) and black lines represent constructive (dark
fringes) for light waves? And blue lines represent destructive
(loud sound) and black lines represent constructive (soft
sound) for sound waves?

Theen & I: NO LIKE THAT!!!!!!!! THAT'S JUST
REPRESENT!!!!!!!

Adel Liaw just say "ha????" when we're arguing. (PS: She didn't go Mr. lee's physic tuition.)

Our argument was heard by our teacher, Ms. Chung. Adel Tan asked her the question which we're arguing just now.

REASON NO.3

I went to church youth last night. Our activity was watching a movie at Jacky's house.

Sorry!!!
I didn't know what's the movie called!!
It's something about happiness!!

After watching that movie, my conclusions are:

As a child, we must appreciate everything that our daddy & mummy have given to us in our whole life.
As a child, we should not waste our daddy & mummy's money to buy unnecessary stuffs such as branded stuffs (for teenagers) because money is hard to find.
As a mummy or daddy of a child during future time, we should give happiness to our child although life is tough.
We should brave to solve our problems in our life.
